We have noticed a hugh increase of interest from first time visitors lately. With the intent optimizing yours an our time spent in the preliminary approach, please read the following suggestions.
Please consider carefully the following points:
1- READ italtrade.net site, specially the FAQ, page BEFORE enquiring.
We see many times people that ask questions that are already answered in the site.
In this way you waste time and we waste time.
It also shows that you do not care about others people time if you ask questions which are already answered and at hand.
2- We cannot do everything. It is obvious. We cannot properly handle products that have already dozens of distributors in Italy.
Our specialty is in the hi-tech segment where we can add a lot of value.
We do handle many non hi-tech products, but they MUST have something unique, like being totally new, having few or no distributors yet, have some special advantage over the competition, etc.
After reading the site, ask if we may be interested in your products sending a brief description of products and a brief description of the company.
3- If we answer that yes, we may be interested in your products, you need to do your homework :
a) We need a good description (in English) of your products and illustrations if necessary.
b) We NEED marketing data!
We need to know how much you sell worldwide; how much you sell in different continents, how much you sell in the most important European countries. This last point is very important: if you already sell in some European country, we need to know the details: how much ? directly ? with distributors ? how many ? since when ? what you sell ? why ? what you don't sell ? why ?
What are your main advantages ? what are your weak spots ? What about your competitors ? who are they ? etc.
The better you do this the better we are able to assess if it is worth to proceed or not.
Why we ask and need this information ? Because we need to understand if WE are capable of handling your products in an efficient way. You surely know YOUR business better than we. If you do not give us the essential information, we then need to find it ourselves, which is time consuming. Therefore if you make your homework and give all important details, we can start sooner to evaluate, otherwise you are put in a waiting list which may or may not be processed, according to workload.
Since you are interested in doing business, DO your homework, you will get a much faster reply and show that you are serious.
4- Although we are open to any kind of agreement, often we work on commission only. That means that we get a % (percent) on net sales, for 5 years or more, depending on the agreement.
HOWEVER after we discuss all the details and we have reached a WRITTEN agreement we request a NON REFUNDABLE advance payment of EURO 500 (or more depending on the specific products). From this amount the initial commissions will be taken. In other words if we earn the first month Euro 600 in commissions you will pay Euro 100 because you have already advanced 500.
